All wedding cake orders require a 50% deposit in order to hold a spot on our calendar. If you wish to pay by credit card just call. You can also mail a check- just ask me for the address as I won't post it here.

Deposit is applied to total cost of cake.

Cakes by Mel is not responsible for illness, weather, or change in plans.

No refund on deposits. 

All payment required in full at time of pick-up.

For delivery, payment is due in full prior to delivery.

For weddings, there is a $40 set up/delivery charge. Any BORROWED cake stands, toppers, or figurines will require a deposit in the amount of the cost of the item beforehand. All borrowed items will need to be returned in a timely manner or this deposit will not be returned.

For Pick-Ups

Please keep in mind that your car will need to have a/c and the cake will require a flat surface to be transported. Note: most front seat floorboards are not flat, and the backseat floorboards in most cars cannot accommodate a large cake.
